The words were spoken by Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George Bush, and last (and least in this case) W.J. Clinton. The only comparable gathering that I can recall was the funereal of Speaker Sam Rayburn attended by 6 men who had occupied the Office or were soon to serve in the Office. Such gatherings are rare and say a great deal about the person being interred.
