India is going to be a rival to Silicon Valley soon because it's government
chose to invest heavily in this industry. The brightest Indians are
attracted to IT because it is a growing area, a well paid and well regarded
profession, along with the excellent chance of being recruited overseas by
international
companies.

As for the nurses, I remember shagging one moonlighting as a prostitute
in Nottingham once. OK, so the shagging bit is exaggerated, but there were
quite
a few nurses forced into prostitution (as well as other second jobs) because
of low pay.
