In fact, MARTA is my primary form of transportation right now. I ride
it to and from work, and frequenly to and from lunch during the day. It
has its problems -- believe me, I KNOW it has it's problems -- but
usually gets me there in a timely manner. Once you ride it more often,
you get used to some of the quirks. It's still possible to be thrown
off-guard by the system, but it is possible to get where you need to go
in a timely manner. Of course, that's presupposing that you are going
to a well-traveled area where bus service is frequent.
