How can I disable csh-style history expansion within shell character classes? For example: cp ../skeleton/.[!.]* . to set up a user's account. As ! here indicates inversion of the character class, I think it should be added to the set of special cases where it is not expanded as history. Regards, - Peter Chubb Softway Pty Ltd, P.O.
