I have built gnuchessr on an Amiga 3000 using a unix emulation library (by Markus Wild). Everything seems functional except one thing... I've noticed a small memory leak! I would like to know if anyone has verified the integrity of the GNU Chess software proper for memory leaks? The leak is a consistant 232 bytes. It is reproduced by: 8> m Type Available In-Use Maximum Largest chip 1898328 197800 2096128 1866496 fast 4117520 3746800 7864320 3043240 total 6015848 3944600 9960448 3043240 8> gnuchessr Enter #moves #minutes: 0 0 White 0:00 Black 0:00 R N B Q K B N R P P P P P P P P - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - p p p p p p p p r n b q k b n r Book used 4606 of 30000 entries. I also realize that it may be outside of the chess code (proper). -------------------------------------- Regards ... rbm2273@ultb.isc.rit.edu --------------------------------------
