In GNU Emacs 18.58.1 of Fri Oct 23 1992 on tramp (berkeley-unix) bug description under gnu-emacs 18.58.1 using an aaa-60 terminal with the changes suggested from gnu's /etc/termcap when I use C-S or C-R searches if the next key I hit sends an esc the esc is lost else if the next key I hit is a meta key then it works fine else any other key works fine Example key sequence is C-S .... finds and moves to the specified string E-f inserts f in buffer C-S .... M-f moves point appropriately This is not a function of typing speed Where should I start looking? William Pickles -- The STRAND Group | uunet:<will@sstl.uucp> ph: +44 582 842424 | Bah !!
