In my previous posting, I had asked: # In Auc-tex Does any one have a way of previewing the file # corresponding to the current buffer (or its Master if that exists) # without running TeX on the buffer first? The only solution I received was to run the following command before starting the previewer ESC ESC (setq TeX-zap-file "filename") where filename is the name of the file on which has to be previewed (current buffer or Master file). The filename SHOULD NOT have the .tex extension. This solution works perfectly. Ravi -- Ravinder Bhumbla rbhumbla@ucsd.edu U. of California, San Diego
