Yes, add me to the interested list. I installed that database package
only because I was hoping it would help me organize things like bibtex
databases, and when I found it could not I never used it since.

So to make edb useful, you really need some supporting databases. The
demos that come with edb are not  very convincing most of that stuff
is already done much more efficiently by the emacs calendar package
and the rest can be done handily using hyperbole and wrolotex.
