Incorrect title on initial epoch window

Just built epoch 4.1 on an HP730 and all is well (caveats to previously
mentioned 4.1 bugs), except for one little aesthetic glitch.  Pardon my
ignorance, but is the initial window in epoch supposed to be named
*scratch* even if epoch is invoked with a filename argument.  Mine is.

Is this a glitch or a feature, or am I doing something wrong?  In any
event how do I get epoch to title the window automatically with the name
of the file that I used as argument?

P.S.  All subsequent windows ARE titled correctly with the filename supplied
to the Control-x-f command.
