I have done the following: It works, but is not "beautiful"
1. Use xmodmap to rebind the keypad to generate KP_ keysyms
2. Use "epoch::rebind-key" to generate DEC escape sequences for
those keys
3. Load a library like tpu-edt.
Because the keypad is redefined, I moved the arrow keys to the four
keys at the top of the keypad. This approach also works with Lemacs.
