I recently grabbed the 2.2.2 sources off of UUNET
& attempted to build gcc for my SS1. Everything up
to and including 'stage3' appeared to proceed well.
'Make compare' is another story altogether. Every file
had differences (in different locations - not just in
consistant offsets within a file).  Is this abnormal
for the Sun? Any suggestions? Is 2.2.2 stable?
