Can anyone point me to a working version of robotussin for SCO 386
Unix 3.2 (Unix, not Xenix)? I have a November XX, 1989 version of
binutils, and the version of robotussin that comes with it has a number
of problems. Before I start to mangle the copy that I have, I was
wondering if anyone has already fixed robotussin. In particular, the
problems are:
1. Robotussin does not properly handle static objects. Instead of being
marked "intern", static objects are marked "extern". GNU ld then
core dumps or improperly fixes up the relocation for these objects.
2. Robotussin cannot handle .init sections in COFF files.
3. Multiple .data sections are not handled. (I'm not sure if this is
a big problem, as the second .data section seems to have a length of
zero, but I don't know if this is always true.)
