RE: Previously reported problem with building gcc-1.36 on Sun3-os3
Problem: Building gcc-1.36
Host sun 3/60
Using a supposedly pristine tar file from another source
who had ftp'd the gcc tar file, the make failed. The other
party had actually built gcc on a different system and then run
make clean before generating the tar file given to me.
Make clean left gnulib and gnulib2 intact. The problem
showed up as a link error for cc1. Removing gnulib*
led to successful build.
Thanks for responding. Should "make clean" remove gnulib?
