I've successfully compiled gcc-2.1 for an Intel 386 clone running ISC SVR3.2, v3.0. It's quite a bit faster than pcc. I notice that two other languages are included -- C++ and Objective C. I've read Stroudstrup's book on C++ -- What is the standard reference about Objective C? Also, does gcc-2.1 include the rtl for Obj-C? Sincerely yours, Saul Lubkin
