you do ;-) you should have fetched gas-1.36 from utah, too. i did, and
was able to build gcc and g++ fine. you'll run into the other bugs
(see gnu.gcc.bug and gnu.g++.bug) after that.

btw the gdb-4.6 sources i fetched from utah compile, but gdb crashes
when trying to print_gdb_version(), probably because of using varargs
for this. i haven't tried the method the utah-gas employs (watch
the gas Makefile use -DNO_VARARGS on one file) calling _doprnt directly.
the binarie works quite ok, tho the stack backtraces are not correct.

any experience-sharing welcome.
