I don't know if gnu.gcc.help is the right place for this. If not, let me
know.
I'm trying to install glibc-1.03 on a SPARCstation running SunOS 4.1.2.
I'm using the GNU ld, along with most of the other GNU things required to
build glibc. I'm using GNU make 3.62.
Anyway, I have a couple of problems, and I'm wondering if these are (1)
known bugs, (2) bugs with easy solutions, or (3) my error.
First, I'm having trouble building the timezone stuff. For example,
zones-antartica complains about the empty define for antartica-zones. Doing
things a little differently, I get complaints of not being able to make
zoneinfo/SystemV/AST4ADT, or zoneinfo/Egypt\nLibya.
Second, if I avoid the timezone stuff and build the C library anyway, one
of our users reports not being able to find ceil, floor and start_float. I
have not verified this.
Please respond by mail.
Brian
