We are using gcc-2.2.2 compiled under sunos 4.1.1 on sparcstations and we've noticed that 'gcc -gdbx' returns with a warning that it is not supported. We would like to get pure dbx compatable output from the compiler so we can use other debuggers. My question is: Is there any way to get pure dbx output from the new compiler? Since 'gcc -ggdb' produces DBX output with GDB extensions and '-g0' limits DBX info with GDB extensions can you just do a 'gcc -ggdb -g0'? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Mail me and I'll post a summary. Thanks, Dan -- -- -- -- --- --- --- ---- ---- ___ ---- ----- ----- ----- ------ ------ ----- Dan Mack (mack@cray.com) / | \ "We're not hitchiking anymore... ..
