I just built a cross compiler on 386 and the target machine is 68020. What I'm tring to do is to put some support for pascal programs in gcc-1.39. There are two main issues that I'm tring to deal with, one is to reverse the order of the arguments. (in pascal, it's pushed the way it's written and C does the reverse). The second one is to handle the rounding. After I turned off the PUSH_ARGS_REVERSED and turned on the PUSH_ROUNDING flags, the arguments 'do' get pushed onto the stack the ordering that I wanted (from left to right). By looking into the .S file, I found out that when trying to get those arguments out of the stack the ordering remain the same, i.e., from right to left. I looked into a file called 'stmt.c', there is a function called 'assign_parms' which does the assignment of rtx to each argument. I tried to reverse the argument tree before the offset and rtx got assigned. It does not work. Is this the right place to look ? Thanks in advance. Terry Chou
