Hello world,

i have also another Problem on my sun, maybe it can be solved by gtar?

i own a Wangtek Streamer 5525 ES Rev 7 G, that means, it should be able to
write on a Tape 525MB of files (QIC 525). This tape is connectet to a SUN IPC.
The tar on the sun seems to be very silly, he writes about 300 MB of files oin
the tape and the anounce end of file occured during write. So it seems, that
the tar is not able to write in higher densitys as i need for this tapes.
Another thing is, thst after writing a block he always veryfies the block ( so
you need about 12h to see the message above (:-((.

Can i solve this Problem with gtar, meens, is there a possibility to "learn"
gtar the correct parameters, like the dump on the sun?
