OK, with the help of a few netters, I believe I have finally constructed a standalone gcc dev sys for SCO UNIX. The question now is, what am I legally allowed to distribute? The only stuff that appears to be illegal to post to the net is any of the "fixed" header files that are SCO-proprietary, but that's OK since the glibc will have its own header files. However, in the gcc include directory that the SCO fixed headers are in, there are many other files that are not SCO. I'm assuming these are identified by not having "Santa Cruz" copyrights at the top. So what I was planning to do was package as, ld, glibc and all of gcc, EXCEPT FOR any header files that have Santa Cruz copyrights at the top. I'll just delete those, the remaining header files should be fine, yes? Or am I safe to delete everything in the gcc include directory and run solely off the header files that come with glibc? Comments welcome before I do anything that will get me strung up by my privates. As soon as I'm confident what I'm doing is legal, this stuff will be downloaded to digibd.com. R. Day
