🚀 go-pugleaf

I have a question in puting picture in the table.  I am using the
longtable.sty for a compilation of chemical properties of a list
of molecules.  I would like to put the molecule inside the table
right next to the properties associate to that molecule.  The
molecule is in the picture enviroment.  This is what I tried, but
it does not put the properties next to the molecule.

begin{longtable}[c]{|c|l|}
\caption[Geometry Tables]{Experimental and Optimized Geometries} \\ \hline
\endfirsthead
\caption[]{(continued)} \\ \endhead \hline
 \begin{picture}(50,50)(0,0)
 \put(25,25){\line(1,0){60}} % I am using a simple line to test.
 \end{picture}
 &
 \begin{tabular}{l|r|r|c}
 A & 1.0 & 1.5 & a \\
 B & 2.0 & 2.1 & \\ \hline
 \end{tabular}
\end{longtable}


This will give me a table like this:

        |            |  A  | 1.0 | 1.5 |  a |
        |            |  B  | 2.0 | 2.1 |    |
         -----------------------------------

What I would like is this:

        | -------    |  B  | 2.0 | 2.1 |    |
        |            |     |     |     |    |
         -----------------------------------

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
