Dear netters, we got some answers concerning our gif and pcx drivers problem. Special thanks to Rodney Mcduff from the University of Queensland whose patches we used for updating our ghostscript program. We have again a question: What is the correlation between a -r<Number> specified resolution and the final size of the resulting PCX plot on the sheet ? (We include the PCX plot in our TeX documents by using emtex and \special(em:graph pcxfile) and adjust the <Number> in the -r option until we are satisfied. A conversion from <Number> to inch or centimeters would be fine.) Any help is appreciated. ThX in advance -- Stefan Dallwig (sdal@ibm.ruf.uni-freiburg.de) -- <news@sun1.ruf.uni-freiburg.de>
