Has anyone written a driver for the above?? If not, then maybe I'll have a go but I need help! It's a bitmapped based printer i.e. you download a bit map into its memory and then tell it to print it, so I need a routine that returns an array of bytes that contains a complete bit map of the whole rendered page. Just like taking a screen dump of the ghostscript window. I've had a brief look at the gdevmem routines but I can't really make sense of what I need and don't need. What I want to do is send an initialisation string to the printer which says, here comes a bit map and then just send a complete dump of the page down. Is it too simple to expect to just have one procedure call that returns a complete bitmap? Hopefully not otherwise things will be more awkward. Is this the only laser printer that works in this way? -- Paul Richards at Cardiff university, UK. spedpr@uk.ac.cf.thor Internet: spedpr%thor.cf.ac.uk@nsfnet-relay.ac.uk UUCP: spedpr@cf-thor.UUCP or ...!uunet!mcsun!uknet!cf!thor!spedpr +++
