It seems that if the last "token" on a line given at the "GS>" prompt
is a single character, then it is duplicated. This did not happen in
2.4.1.
Gs was compiled on a sun4, with gcc 2.2.2.
Also, if one should happen to type "<space><return>" to the showpage
prompt, then all subsequent showpage prompts will continue immediately.
This was also true in 2.4.1.
