I'm calling GhostScript 2.41 from within other programs, so GhostScript should not issue any text if everything goes fine. Unfortunately, using the following gs -dNOPAUSE -q -sDEVICE=dfaxhigh -sOUTPUTFILE='fax.%d' file.ps still generates the 'GS>' prompt on stdout. Is there a way to avoid this? Shouldn't NOPAUSE do it? This is what history.doc says: "Adds a new NOPAUSE flag to suppress the prompt and pause at copypage and showpage." I noticed that the 'GS>' text is defined in 'gs_init.ps', function 'prompt'. Thanks for any help. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Martin Lichtin (lichtin@olsen.ch) Tel +41-1-386-4848 Olsen & Associates Ltd Fax +41-1-422-2282 Seefeldstr. 233, CH-8008 Zurich, Switzerland
