Executing the following snippet of PostScript produces interestingly symmetrical garbage outside the arc, at resolutions below 150: %! 50 setlinewidth 306 396 100 0 270 arc stroke showpage I've compiled it with GCC 2.1 on a Sun SS2 running SunOS 4.1.1, and on an HP 9000/750 running HP-UX 8.05 (both running X11R5). Sun's bundled compiler produces the same results. Just for fun, I also tried it with the pbmraw driver; same thing. Any ideas? Also, at most resolutions I've tried (even above 150), there are white pixels inside the stroked area, which also appear (in different places) under GS 2.4.1. I presume they're related. -- J Greely (jgreely@cis.ohio-state.edu; osu-cis!jgreely)
