Has anyone attempted to write a device driver for the HP 7600 plotter. It has raster graphics but I'm not sure if one will blow up ghostscript as uncompressed raster images can easily reach 150MB for a single color. Of course the best port would attempt to convert a ps file into a list of vectors. Has anyone tried that. Which graphics primitives will be finally rasterized and where does this happen? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Regards, max -- Max Ott max@ccrl.nj.nec.com phone: (609)951-2469 NEC C&C Research Princeton, NJ, 08540 fax: (609)951-2499
