I observed the same behavior on a 32MB MacII, a 32 MB DecStation 5000, and
an 16MB Apollo DN4000. Judging from people reporting use of gnu smalltalk
it appeared to me that my problem was isolated, and I just decided to wait
for 1.2, hoping that somehow the thrashing would go away.
Cheers, Thomas.
