Because netfax-3.2.1 is an utility (IMHO) I thought it was the right
group to ask this question. If it was not, please excuse me and tell me
what the right newsgroup is.

I am porting netfax-3.2.1 to 386BSD (compiled it after doing some patches,
some tests still necessary). I would like to post the patches, once the port is
complete and works well, in one of the GNU newsgroups (as suggested by
another reader in comp.unix.bsd).
Now, I can't find a newsgroup like gnu.netfax.patches or gnu.netfax.bug, etc.

So, please tell me where I should post the netfax patches for 386BSD, so that
they are included in the next version of it.

OTOH: Will there be a next version of it ?
A friend of mine reported problems with the combination of netfax 3.2.1
which was written at the time ghostscript 2.4.1 appeared and the (newer)
ghostscript 2.5.1. Netfax and gs 2.5.1 didn't quite agree on the interpretation
of some template files, e.g. the coversheet for the faxes.
The main reason was that the way how to set the color tables (even black
and white) had changed.
If somebody can help with this, I will be happy.
Otherwise netfax-3.2.1 will require to use gs 2.4.1 which might not be
available any longer on most ftp-sites.
