Net People, I am posting for a friend. He's using CVS, but he's having a little of the chicken-or-the-egg variety: how does he get started? He is responsible for maganging code that has NEVER been under any source code control. He knows how to use RCS...and liked the idea of CVS enough to get the tape. Could someone either tell me where a step-by-step example is of getting started (yes, he *has* RTFM, several times! If it's there, WHERE IS IT?) or *SEND* me an example of getting started. 10^6 Thanks -- ------------------------------------------------------------------ Yeah, just "Jake", or jjd@world.std.com. Sure, it's a pseudonym. How many of us are "real" when we use our actual names, eh?
