I've had nothing but bad luck with most of the Auto Shops in Greenbelt
also.  Greenbelt Auto-Truck Repair seems to do pretty good work, but
they are incredibly expensive.  There are two shops, however, that I
suppose I could recommend.  It's not that they're all that great, but
at least they've never screwed me over.  The first one is the All Tune
and Lube right near the intersection where you turn left off G'belt road
to head towards US 1 south.  The two guys who are ASE certified seem to
be pretty with it.  As with most places, I think they'll treat you more
fairly if it looks like you know what you're talking about.  The other
shop is Chang's Amoco on US 1 about a block or so north of UMCP.  I would
probably trust this place a little more than the All Tune and Lube.  If 
you don't mind that Chang doesn't speak too much English, he really
seems to know what he's doing with cars.  Watch where you park your car,
though, or his wife will yell at you in Chinese.

As always, though, caveat emptor...
