Mr. CHEUNG, Kin-lee (ex-Chairman of Bar Assocication) has said
similar stuff but in a more gentle manner.  He said, "if we 
accept Provisional Legislature just because some officals ask 
you to accept it, without clarifing the (legal) ground of PL
careful enough, then, this is an INSULT to the Constitution
to the People's Republic of China"  (note)

And apart from the legal question, there are also
the more important political question on PL.
