Saying that any one thing is _the_ answer is oversimplification.  But, I
do my level best _not_ to consume anything with HFCS in it.  That stuff
is worse than crack, crystal meth, and heroin all rolled into one in
terms of the damage it does to our health.  But golly gee, what's the
harm in agricultual policies that keep the price of corn low so that
ADM can buy it cheap, refine it into HFCS, sell it to Coke/Pepsi et al.
(and don't forget those frozen cans of "juice" that all too often have
HFCS as their main ingredient), and we all can go to Sam's Club and buy
case lots of the stuff?
