The Chicago chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) has a special interest group in Artificial Intelligence (SIGART). We meet in Chicago quarterly and host a speaker on various topics of interest in AI such as neural nets, machine learning, natural language, and expert systems. If you have a topic of interest in the field of AI, and you would like to speak to our group, I would be delighted to discuss it with you. All our meetings are informal, and the atmosphere is very receptive to both practical applications and research topics. We also have a networking session at each meeting, prior to the speaker's presentation. Its a great opportunity to meet others who are working in, or are interested in the field of AI. There are refreshments served at the meetings. Please feel free to E-mail questions on being a speaker, or attending our meetings as a member, to John Garton, at: JGARTON@ACM.ORG You may also call John Garton during business hours at: Byte Knights, Inc. (312) 327-9250 Thanks for your interest. --

Either John Garton or myself could speek about using a fuzzy logic driver to simplify and implement business data processing systems for large corporations. I think it would be a good idea to ask John. We will need to talk this over.
