Back a few weeks ago, there was a sidebar in the "Things to Do" part of the L.A. Times' View section which mentioned a lake in Santa Barbara county where bald eagles and lotsa other neat birds come back to roost in the early spring. It mentioned that for $8 or so, you could go on a boat that cruised around the lake, and rangers would point out the flora & fauna. It said that reservations were requested. I cut out the article, but when I finally need it, of course I can't find it now (fell off the ol' bulletin board :-( ). If anyone has been to this lake before and knows either where it is and/or the phone number to contact regarding the tours, I'd greatly appreciate an e-mail response. Thanks, -- - Greg Earle | Disclaimer: I would be just as Sun Los Angeles | mortified if Sun thought I was JPL on-site Software Support | speaking for the company as Sun is at earle@poseur.JPL.NASA.GOV | the thought of me speaking for it.
