Hello: I am interested in hearing comments/personal opinions on the following issue: What do you believe to be the social implications of the learning situation in which the ergonomics of the use of computers and I.T. are not given importance or relevance? I look froward to hearing your responses. I am not sure of the social implications. However, I think the comfort level in the room will enhance the success of the teaching. If monitors and keyboards are not placed at the proper levels and chairs are not comfortable and adjustable, the students may spend more time adjusting than participating in the lesson. This may lead to situation that would create off-task behaviour. -- Gene Whitfill Plainview ISD 806-296-6392 806-296-4014 FAX
