I wanted to let you know, we're just about set to participate in MathMagic. I have enlisted the help of our "In House" math consultant for the year, Ann Hecht. So she will be communicating with you in the near future - some time this week I anticipate. We'll probably be too late to contribute to this problem cycle, but then we're just beginning to get the students going and maybe they will surprise us. I've also forwarded information about the project to our middle school math department and I think they are also interested but I just have to find the time to sit down with them and answer their questions about using telecommunications. One question - I noticed some problems involve money. In such cases would you mind if we add a little "international" flavor by mentioning how we have to convert that into the local currency - NT$ (New Taiwan Dollars) It is just a thought. I wouldn't want to confuse any problem but thought some people might find it interesting. -- uucp: uunet!m2xenix!puddle!6!720!921!Jeff.Harrits Internet: Jeff.Harrits@f921.n720.z6.fidonet.org
