IH> I would like a channel for a project. IH> I would like the main topics of discussion to be as IH> follows although I am more than open to suggestions: IH> i. How to involve children in electronic mail within IH> a classroom situation. IH> ii. Which packages to use and how to immplement them. IH> iii. How to overcome security problems and problems involving LAN usage. IH> iv. Other ways of using file distribution networks IH> and other FidoNet technologies in the classroom. IH> Please get back to me soon either here or on 2:258/17, my school. Your ideas for discussion indeed have merit. I am not sure they fit the channel model, but they may. You need to have a group of teachers who wish to participate in this discussion. Why can't you just have this discussion in the teacher chat area? Float the questions in teacher chat, see what responses you get and see if people want or need a channel for this discussion. When we have put similar ideas into a channel they have fizzled. -- uucp: uunet!m2xenix!puddle!321!110!Helen.Sysop Internet: Helen.Sysop@f110.n321.z1.fidonet.org
