  But not strictly administrative computing.  The library system is
academic computing but will be moving to KU if such a thing happens.
Any academic computing on the mainframe would move or migrate to other
platforms.  Expect a surge in the number of Unix systems if the move
takes place.

  I've heard to expect more information in July.  We have already met
with Walentine to detail our computing needs.  I still get the impression 
that the decision is going to be based on costs and not how well it
meets the users needs.  Hopefully they will look at the users needs
before making a final decision if the dollar figure looks good.
