The expresso bar was a hidden refuge in the days of film forum
and the raymond theater, circa 1982. Then, alas, as with all
good things it was "DISCOVERED" . It is now popular with the artsy
fartsy high school students and ocassional USC, UCLA crew
Best done on a week night when the employees are relaxed and willing
to offer friendly service and what used to be the best NY cheese-
cake in LA.(IMHO) :)'
now to the requested info.
selection- usual coffee and tea stuff, the caffe' royal is sin
ambience- used furniture in a back room of a store reached by
way of an alley off of an alley. local artist shows
price- $2.25 for a double caffe' latte' $3.00 for a slice of cake
non-coffee- tea, soda, water
Friday and Saturday nights it's westwood east or worse.
