	That is the British interpretation of the word "rights". The issue is
so confused in Canada because we are exposed to the British view that
"rights" are granted by law, as well as to the American view that
"rights" are inherent. The American view is that a person unjustly
chained to a wall has the right to walk around, but that right has been
denied, whereas the British view is that the person's right to walk
around has been taken away, i.e. that they do not have that right even
though they should have it.
