CCN most certainly did keep me from speaking by terminating my account, denying me access to the Internet and this public forum. If I'd not had the means to get another ISP after they terminated my account, CCN would have kept me from speaking in this public forum and on the Internet. > NObody is under any obligation to provide a platform to whoever wants > it. CCN is under the obligation to provide their service to *all* members of the community. CCN states such in their "Mission Statement". I am one of the "all" in the community. The other CCN user, with the kiddie porn, who lost his account broke the law. According to CCN, my account was terminated because of too many complaints by people about my USENET posts and for no other reason -- as least as far as I know to date. In the past people have complained about my homepage, but others - including CCN users - link my homepage to theirs. The preference of others is no reason in and of itself to terminate someones account. CCN has sent a clear message with their decision to terminate my account for the reason they stated. All people have to do now if they want to silence someone, who is a CCN user, is to send many complaints to CCN and her/his account will be terminated. Barbara A. Amero
