You were correct, Jean.  It's way too old, and must be put out of its
misery!

The above progression of your posts, Jean, indicates that you are a
perceptive person, one who recognises a cess-pool in time to avoid
becoming contaminated. 

Please continue to post the progress of your battle. Several of us
have already admitted to your Step One.  We'd be interested in hearing
your subsequent steps, with a view to forming a self-help group, here
on ns.general. 

It's harder than quitting smoking, or drinking.  Cigarettes and booze
don't follow you around...don't taunt you long after you've sworn off
them, as Amero does.  Just check out Michelle's threads. Michelle
swore off contact with Amero, and Amero posted nothing but messages
directed at Michelle for days thereafter. Michelle had the sense to
quit Cold Turkey, and didn't take the bait.

You do not have to respond to Amero. Simply address your posts to the
groups themselves. Your commonsense, no-nonsense attitude is quite
refreshing, and I'm sure you will receive similar responses in return.
Responding to the group, rather than Amero, will leave her out of the
circuit. Ignoring a tantrum is still the best way of ending one. 

As for the spamming,  Amero feels, mistakenly, that the world is
poised, breathlessly awaiting her next emetic word-shower. Without
responses, we may be lucky.....she might just dry up and blow away.
Even from man.general!
