If we look at the total number of job postings in the mi groups and do a reasonable extrapolation, it is obvious that we don't need a separate group for Michigan jobs now or for the next few years. On the other hand, if we look at (un)employment statistics in Michigan, it is obvious that making it easier for people to find work is a good thing. So, if Ed (emv@msen.com) proposed creating mi.jobs so that 4 or 5 postings a month will now also get crossposted to mi.jobs, I am against creation of the group. I would be for creation of the group, if it meant that Ed would repost Michigan jobs found elsewhere, or convince large local employers to post their job openings or anything else that would lead to a significant volume of appropriate posts. -- Paul Haas paulh@ox.com OTA Limited Partnership (313) 930-1888 Psst, hey buddy, want to buy an 8 MByte Sun 3/50 and a Telebit T2500?
