I'm looking for an *excellent* book on Networking.

I'm pratically a virgin to the field, and while I know a couple
of things, I need an easy to understand book which covers:

UNIX Networking
 -How it works
 -How to get it to work
 -Local and Non-local UNIX Networking
LAN's - Unix or non-unix (ECHOMail, etc)

It's gotta be a damn fine book which will introduce me to the
basics and take me through the advanced stuff.  I do get
into Ann Arbor, so if Border's has a good one, please let me know.
Title/Author/Order # needed if possible, please!
