Scheduling DTS packages?

I've successfully set up a DTS package that runs when I right click and
execute it,
I want it to run on a schedule so I right click it and go to Schedule. I set
up the schedule
to execute it once per day at 08:00 AM. 8 AM comes along and it does not
happen.
I've tried over and over and it simply does not work. I've looked in the log
and it has nothing
to say. DOes anyone have any idea what I may be doing wrong?
How about setting this up with dtsrun and the NT scheduler? Is that a good
alternative?
