As someone who has purchased a lot of prerecorded movies, trust me when I
say -- you get what you pay for.  The so-called "bargain" movies that you
buy for $9.99 are almost always inferior to other movies selling for a higher
price.  These cheaper tapes are usually recorded in LP mode on the poorest
quality tape possible.  For a casual viewer, this would probably be OK,
but for the "video connosieurs" it is unacceptable.

McDonald's would like you to think that they are selling you first quality
tapes through a special arrangement with the manufacturer.  And it may be
true.  But I wouldn't be surprised a bit if the tapes are inferior.  In the
same manner that most people are satisfied by a mediocre burger, so will they
be satisfied by a mediocre-quality videotape.
