I decided to try the new online Internet gift certificate company,
FLOOZ.com.  I saw Whoppi on TV.  Big Mistake!

I sent $326 to a friend on June 23, 2000, Friday night.  The entry screen
guaranteed delivery in TWO hours.

Saturday morning at noon, I checked out my account.  I did not see the
posting.  So, I tried to use their chat.  I was told that the transaction
was pending and that CITIbank was holding authorization.  So I call
CITIbank.  No, the $326 had been authorized early in the morning.

I call 877-GO-FLOOZ (notice that their is no Z on the phone?)  I speak to
"Nilsa" who tells me that basically the transaction is "on hold" and there
is no one in management there that can make any decision.

So I basically dug a hole and put my $326 into it for the weekend.  I could
have sent the money by Western Union and at least had it arrive.  Plus the
fact that there is "no one" there to help really stings.

Boycott this ripoff!!!
