So why then, did you post this to "ba.consumers" and "ba.market.misc"?   
The ba.* news hierarchy covers the San Francisco Bay Area.  FWIW, the
ca.* hierarchy is for California and not Canada.  You might try the
"tor.*" and "can.*" hierarcies.
