Dear Ngo,

Since your question was vague, it's a little harder to answer. For the
most part, fraud and breach of contract cases are matters governed by the
law of the state in which the action took place. Most attorneys are
registered and licensed in only one state. So, at least mention the state
so those of us who would like to help will know whether it is within our
legal competence to do so.

The cost to you or to the company will depend entirely on what happened
to you and how it happened. So whether a "contingent fee" approach is
possible will vary.

>From what you said, it sounds as though you will need to file either a
civil tort claim or breach of contract claim. 92% of such cases settle out
of court after filing, so you may not need a great trial attorney,
provided your case can be framed well enough to force or nearly force a
settlement in pre-trial negotiations.

Finally, there are almost always costs, such as filing fees and
stenographer charges, which you may have to bear, sooner or later, when
you litigate.

Hopefully, these ideas will help your restate your problem slightly.

Best wishes,

Marc
